IFAT Eurasia SMM 2021 Fair: “MUSILAGE PROBLEM AND SOLUTION SUGGESTIONS PANEL” was organized by the Turkish National Committee for Solid Wastes (KAKAD-ISWA TURKEY) and the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA International Solid Waste Association) on October 21, 2021 at the Istanbul Expo Center between 13:00 and 15:00.

"International Congress on the Phenomenological Aspects of Civil Engineering" #PACE2021, organized by Atatürk University, was held between 20-23 June 2021.
KAKAD President Prof. Günay Kocasoy attended as Keynote Speaker with the “Environmentally Friendly Cities” topic.

The training program on "The Role of the Private Sector in Inclusive and Sustainable Waste Management", supported by KAKAD and prepared by UNDP, was held on 22 June 2021.

"Sustainable Cities / Cooperation Workshop" organized by the Union of Municipalities of Turkey and Boğaziçi University was held on 1-2 June 2021.
In the workshop, KAKAD President Prof. Dr. Günay Kocasoy made a presentation on "Right and Wrong Practices in Environment and Waste Management".
During the two-day workshop, topics such as disaster management, zero waste management, climate action plan, and smart city applications were discussed, and at the end of the workshop, a virtual room was offered for the municipalities that want to develop projects with Bogazici University.
